Waterside School’s Second, Third and Fourth Grade classes participated in their annual “Stepping Up” ceremony on Thursday, June 10^th. Teachers from the classes spoke to their students, remarking on how hard the children worked all year, and how they already were emerging as young leaders within the Waterside community. To celebrate their year, each class sang a special song Second Grade sang “Try Everything,” Third Grade sang a “I Was Here (Beyoncé)” and Fourth Grade sang “I Was Here” (Imagine Dragons). The families’ pride in their children was impossible to miss – the ceremonies were truly joyous occasions.
