SCHOOL PLACEMENT
One of the Waterside’s guiding ambitions is to pave path for its graduates to the area’s finest independent schools. The School works with each fifth-grade family to introduce the various options, to prepare family and child for the process itself and to guide all parties throughout.
Family Partnership
The School provides support by facilitating visits, providing guidance in the completion of the required applications, helping to navigate the financial aid process and providing weekly ISEE test and Interview Prep. The personal and comprehensive approach allows each family to have a full understanding of what can be a complicated process and, ultimately, to find the school that is the right fit for their child.
ISEE Preparation
All fifth-grade students take a benchmark Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) as a part of the application process. ISEE preparation is integrated throughout the curriculum and is provided by the School during its summer program and over the course of the academic year.
