On Thursday, July 8, The Village Stamford revealed a spectacular mural of Waterside alumna Paula Zanol. Created by Connecticut artist Patrick Ganino to honor the partnership between The Village and Waterside School, the 40 foot mural depicts Paula holding a sign that reads “Dream Big” against the backdrop of items related to art, music, science, and literature. Patrick Ganoli explains that the mural- specifically the image of Paula- “represents our youth and everything that is possible.” Paula herself said it best at the reveal: “I hope all the children in this community will look at the artwork and remember to dream big.” View this Good Morning America clip
