Mr. Keels was recently named to the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools (CAIS). “Jamel is a reflective and thoughtful leader who will bring his experience and help lead the association to its very bright future.” Said Rick Branson, CAIS Executive Director.

Founded in 1950, CAIS is a voluntary association of 93 non-profit independent schools serving over 30,000 students throughout Connecticut as well as many other states and countries. It is a Recognized Accrediting Association in the State of Connecticut, and is affiliated with the National Association of Independent Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
