On Wednesday, April 6, Waterside School celebrated its beloved Director of Food Services, Ingrid Moore, with the first annual “Mrs. Moore Day.” The entire school community was in on the surprise; Mrs. Moore walked into morning assembly to a huge round of applause and a song written just for her. Junior Kindergarten students made Mrs. Moore t-shirts, each class presented her with gifts and flowers, and the students rewrote the lyrics to “Isn’t She Lovely.” It was a truly special morning and a fitting way to honor Mrs. Moore’s years of dedication to making Waterside’s dining hall the happiest place at school.
